The theme is exploring space.

Inspiration for Artwork:
Students in each class at Elizabeth Price Elementary brainstormed ideas for the horse. In every class the idea of space came up. Every student in the school had a chance to design a horse on their own for consideration. About five students seleected the space theme.

Media Used:
Acrylic paint, plaster strips and clay.

Artist: Price Elementary School students

A team of students from third, fourth and fifth grade did the main painting and building of the horse. Every student in Kindergarten-fifth grade contributed a clay star to the final project. The students were under the direction of art teacher Jennifer Schulman.
