Artwork Description:
The artwork is very abstract and open to interpretation, through the title suggests there is a passage of time, as well as time to come. As the future "passes" the present, there for some may be a glimmer of hope and reason amongst the checkered and sometimes chaotic lives.

The rocking horse is splatter-painted with a checker pattern over the top. The base is painted with basic geometic and organic shapes, black, white, primary and secondary colors are used.

Inspiration for Artwork:
This theme evolved and progressed as it was worked on. The main idea didn't fully converge until the end of the work.

Latex enamel paints.

Artist: Mogadore High School

Mogadore High School seniors Jessica Cordier, Angela Tetrick, Shawn McDonald and Jack Golden, junior Toni Boling, sophomore Sean Kirkpatrick and freshman Abby Ruffener decorated this rocking horse with the aid of art teacher Matt Beresh. Matt Beresh has taught for eight years. He and his wife of seven years, Jamee have a 14-month old son, Matthew II.
