2003 Horse - "Trick Pony"
Artwork Description: In the late nineties, several new voices began to capture the hearts of country music fans around the nation. As country music’s best-selling new group in 2001, Trick Pony’s first single flew to the top of music charts and filled the speakers of radio stations, including “Akron’s own country music station,” WQMX 94.9. Even though WQMX is Akron’s youngest radio station, its local owners have instilled a passion for community service into the station’s work. WQMX is pleased to support Children’s and celebrate the best of today’s country sounds in this tribute to one of today’s hottest rising groups, Trick Pony. Kristy Wahl, a student from Kenmore High School, designed this funky colt.
