2003 Horse - "When I Grow Up I Want to Be a Quarterback Horse (Cleveland Browns colt)"
Artwork Description: It is never too late to return a favor. This year, Sylvia Albertelli-Masek designed a colt for Children’s as a thank-you for the memorable experience she had at the hospital as a child. After undergoing back surgery and recuperating for several weeks, she retained her appreciation for the comforting doctors and nurses who coached her through the surgery and recovery. Sylvia selected a design featuring an ambitious young colt hoping to eventually play for its sponsor, the Cleveland Browns. After painting the colt with realistic markings and features, she used an authentic Cleveland Browns jersey and equipment to outfit the colt. The colt was then signed by the 2003 Cleveland Browns players. Sylvia lives in Lakewood, Ohio, and currently works as an art director.
