Artwork Description:
The theme of the rocking horse is travel destinations around the globe. The body of the pony is covered in maps. These are actual map pieces attached with mod-podge (clear acrylic). Many famous locations and landmarks are featured such as the Sphinx, the Statue of Liberty, etc. These destinations are small, three-dimensional models constructed of sculpey clay, pained and attached at various points.

Artist: Tallmadge High School Art Club

The Art Club at Tallmadge High School consists of 20 students from the ninth through the twelfth grade. They love art and want to share their love of art with the community. Nancy Jones is the club's advisor.
