2003 Horse - "Minnie"

A passion for horseback riding unites the members of the Richlon Saddlebred Connection Youth Club, who designed and decorated a colt for Richlon Farms. Built in 1968, Richlon Farms is situated on Ridgewood Road in Sharon Center, Ohio, and is a premier training facility for American Saddlebred horses. Owned and operated by the Lavery family, they are now into a fourth-generation horseman with Lindsay Lavery as trainer. With more than 68 World Champions and reserve champion titles to its credit, Richlon Farm prides itself on giving quality training and instruction.

"Minnie" was designed by Stephanie Framer, Kiersten Myer, Sarah Snyder and Jen Sekerak and decorated by the entire Richlon Saddlebred Connection Youth Club.

Richlon Farms Riding School is a nationally recognized riding program offering lessons in saddle seat for riders age 4 through adult. Riding school director, Vicki Spoonster, with 25 years of teaching experience, brings her expertise to assist all levels of riding from beginner to advanced. A heated indoor riding arena with well-maintained grounds make year-round riding enjoyable. Students enjoy personalized instruction in a friendly atmosphere with activities that include summer camps, clinics and a youth club.
