Urban metalsmith Gene Blackford is notorious for his innovative work on sports cars and classic automobiles. His classic rock colt is just one of Blackford’s many sculptures that have earned him national attention. The colt’s sponsor, 97.5/WONE, is Akron’s Home of Rock & Roll. The station plays the Stones, Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty, Pearl Jam and more. In addition, 97.5/WONE helps out in the community, displaying love for its hometown and for rock n’ roll.
